GM, Pilot, and EVgo share progress updates, installing EV fast chargers across 25+ states

Less than three years after signing a partnership agreement to implement a massive EV charging network of new stations across the US, GM Energy, Pilot Co., and EVgo has shared how far that expansion has gotten so far, reaching locations in 25 states around the US with plans for plenty more.

Pilot Co. will expand charging network to heavy-duty EVs with help of Volvo Group

Pilot Company and Volvo Group have signed a letter of intent to co-develop a charging network across Pilot and Flying J travel centers, catered specifically toward medium- and heavy-duty EVs. Both companies look to reduce carbon footprints on populated roadways by overtaking some of the infrastructural roadblocks currently inhibiting widespread adoption of commercial EVs.

EVgo signs supply deal with Delta Electronics for 1,000 fast chargers coming to the new GM network

US public charging network EVgo has announced a new supply agreement with global energy solutions provider Delta Solutions for 1,000 fast charger piles capable of charge outputs up to 350 kW. This news is particularly relevant because some of those 1,000 piles will be deployed by EVgo on the nationwide network recently announced by GM and Pilot Company / Flying J.
