Important new step in the development of telecommunications infrastructure for Cellnex Poland! We will build over 100 new telecommunications towers for Orange Polska, using our Build To Lease (BTL) model. We cover the construction costs and will be the owner of the emerging infrastructure. Thanks to this, as a neutral host, we will be able to share it with other operators and entities. Sharing means maximum efficiency in the use of infrastructure, faster implementation of #5G technologies and a better digital future for the country. 📡 ¡Un nuevo paso importante en el desarrollo de la infraestructura de telecomunicaciones en Cellnex Poland! Cellnex Italia has implemented a connectivity solution at Milan Malpensa and Linate airports, significantly improving the user experience by providing better #coverage from #MNOs. Key highlights of this project include: 📡Implementation of a multi-operator #DAS (Distributed Antenna System) composed of 650 mini-antennas, designed to minimize visual and electromagnetic impact. 🔗Deployment of 25 km of #fibre optic cable, ensuring a robust and high-capacity #connection. 🛬Comprehensive coverage in the departure and arrival areas of both airports, optimizing #connectivity for passengers. 👍 Direct benefit for the 26 million passengers passing through #Malpensa and the 9.4 million using #Linate annually. The second #hackathon we held as part of the Ignition Project was a huge success! 🧑🎓💡 More than 80 interns participated in this activity, where they were able to develop innovative solutions to real challenges. It is an excellent opportunity for them to put what they have learned into practice, work as a team, and develop their creativity and other skills. The aim of the Ignition Project is to build a pool of young talent to meet the future needs of the business. Today we held the company’s Annual General Meeting, at which the shareholders approved the Consolidated Annual Accounts and Management Report, together with the Non-Financial Information, corresponding to financial year 2024. 🎙 The chairman of the company, Oscar Fanjul, recalled the objectives he set when he took over as chairman of the Company, focusing on “prioritizing growth and also return of capital to shareholders. To achieve this, maximizing the return on the capital we manage is essential, and business growth and increased efficiency will be important tools in the coming years.” 🎙 🎙 Cellnex CEO, Marco Patuano stressed that “Europe needs a strong telecommunications infrastructure industry, solid and pan-European companies capable of competing on the global stage. Cellnex is a strong industrial Company, a leader on the continent and it is poised for growth. The context is complex for all industrial sectors.
