As a member of the #EUTaxLaw Group, we hosted a panel on “(Refund of) Withholding Taxes from an EU Law Perspective,” covering the latest trends, relevant case law, and practical implications for the #taxation of #InvestmentFunds and pension funds.   Issues of comparability, refund claims, loss reporting, compensatory interest, and other critical developments were also under discussion in this event, which occurred this week, at our Lisbon auditorium.   “Withholding tax rules are a key pressure point for non-discrimination and effective judicial protection in the EU.
