Last Wednesday, we opened our doors to AI SUMMIT BARCELONA, and what a day it was! 🙌 For one incredible day, our HQ in Barcelona, Yellow Park, turned into a four-stage marathon of ideas, hosting 900+ attendees and 50 talks from some of the leading minds in AI ⚡ 👉 We believe that to lead in tech, you have to be part of the conversation, and that’s exactly what we did. Our CTO, Shiro Theuri  joined a panel with Jean-Christophe Taunay-Bucalo (TravelPerk), Narcís Matabosch (Holaluz.com), and Marcel Queralt (Factorial), discussing AI challenges, opportunities, and executive perspectives. Although globally, food production is sufficient for everyone living on our planet, hunger and food poverty remain among the most urgent challenges of our time. Wrapping up a week of innovation, learning, and connections 🚀 The third edition of Glovo’s Startup Campus Week came to a close after a week. Participants joined one-on-one sessions with Glovo leaders, visited Norrsken and MWC, and attended masterclasses on attracting investors and building sustainable tech, all designed to help their startups grow. The week culminated with a Demo Day, where participating startups pitched their projects to real VCs, getting feedback on their projects from expert investors 🙌 This edition brought together founders from Armenia, Ukraine, Morocco, Poland, Romania, and Portugal, all driven by the same values of innovation and collaboration. With this edition, we’ve now hosted over 60 startups at Yellow Park, in partnership with Impact Hub. It’s a reminder that those who have already walked the startup path have a responsibility to support the next generation of founders, sharing knowledge, experience, and inspiration to help them grow 🌍💛

PowerUp brought together technology and investment, and it was impressive! 💪 🇺🇦 Last Sunday we hosted our third PowerUp: United for Tech & Investments, now integrated with the IT Arena and co-organized with Diia.City United. The event united international business leaders, Ukrainian government officials, and leading investors. We discussed how Ukraine attracts investment, develops technology, and creates new opportunities even in times of conflict. From insights to action: the power of mentorship 🌍 As part of the Startup Campus Week, participating startups gathered at our HQ in Barcelona for a series of, one-on-one mentorship sessions with some of our senior leaders, including Sacha Michaud (Co-founder), Connie K. (VP of Q-Commerce), and Shiro Theuri (CTO), among others 🙌 💡 Each startup was matched with the mentor best suited to their business stage: from those already pitching and selling, to others seeking guidance on improving conversion, expanding into new markets, or tackling specific product challenges. Mentorship often turns into new opportunities, a reminder that stronger startups grow on strong networks, connections and shared experience. That’s exactly what Startup Campus Week stands for: it’s mentorship born from our own experience 💛

This Monday we kicked off the third edition of our Startup Campus Week with 17 new promising startups from across our markets at our HQ in Barcelona! 🚀 We opened the week with inspiring sessions from our founders, Oscar Pierre and Sacha Michaud, who shared the story of how Glovo: from how a small Barcelona startup has become the biggest tech platform in Southern Europe. They also explained their insights on what’s missing to make entrepreneurship thrive in Europe and beyond, and reminded everyone that building a successful startup is about resilience, learning, and connection 💪 🌍 In this edition, 15 startups from Ukraine, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Armenia and Portugal come together to deep dive on key areas of their growing businesses with Glovo and external mentors, networking events, masterclasses and a final pitching session in front of real VCs. We wrapped up the opening day with a cocktail and networking session, joined by Sandra Gatejeanu Gheorghe, Consul General of Romania in Barcelona, and Amir Sultangozhin, Consul of Kazakhstan in Barcelona, the perfect way to continue conversations 🤝 This week is all about empowering the next generation of founders and strengthening local tech ecosystems across Europe and beyond 💛

This week, we hosted two exciting events at Yellow Park: Groceries Day and Retail Day! 🛒🛍️ These events brought together more than 200 retailers from 23 markets across Europe, Africa, and Central Asia for a full day of networking, knowledge sharing, and conversations about the future of Q-Commerce. 🚀 Highlights included inspiring talks from our CEO, Oscar Pierre, who shared his vision for where our industry is heading; our VP of Quick Commerce, Connie K., who discussed the vast potential of Q-Commerce; and Marc-André Kamel from Bain & Company, who engaged the audience by examining how AI is shaping the future of retail.
