Every smile has the power to transform a guest’s day. Meet María Brito, Entertainment Manager at Iberostar Selection Bávaro and Coral Level in the Dominican Republic. Her mornings start with team meetings and planning before bringing our animation programs to life. With her vibrant energy and her signature phrase “¿Dónde está la bulla?”, she sets the tone for joyful and memorable experiences for all. For María, creating unforgettable moments is more than a job—it’s about sharing happiness, fostering teamwork, and making every guest feel part of our Iberostar family. #WeAreIberostar

This year, we took part in FIT Latin America 2025 in Buenos Aires, where we shared exciting news that reflects both the importance of the Americas and our strong commitment to our partners throughout the region. A major milestone will be the opening of our 12th hotel in Mexico — Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancún — this November. Designed for families and couples, this premium resort blends authentic coastal charm with the exceptional hospitality that defines Iberostar. Looking ahead to May 2026, we’ll bring together the region’s top-performing travel agents for the Star Agents LATAM Awards aboard the Grand Amazon Expedition — celebrating their achievements and strengthening the partnerships that drive our shared success. We remain committed to shaping the future by driving a responsible tourism model, creating meaningful experiences while deepening connections with our partners and communities. #WeAreIberostar

Leadership is something you can also learn by traveling. And it’s even better when you pack your bags with curiosity and a desire to grow. At Iberostar, our hotel directors and assistant directors have the chance to live a unique experience: temporarily joining a hotel in a different region, guided by a mentor, to discover new ways of leading, managing teams, and adapting to new environments. It’s a different way to learn, share, and connect. So far, 38 professionals have taken part in this journey and they’ve all come back with something in common: a fresh, more inspired perspective… and plenty of stories to tell. Because great leadership starts when you step outside your comfort zone. #WeAreIberostar

Last week, we gathered for the annual AME Hotel General Managers Convention—a key moment of reflection, alignment and connection among those leading our hotels across the Americas. The meeting brought together hotel managers from all our American destinations. It was a space to share challenges, exchange ideas and look ahead with a common vision. Beyond day-to-day operations, the convention was a chance to step back and reflect on the bigger picture. Directors discussed the strategic vision for the region, shared lessons from their hotels, and explored how to keep growing as leaders in an industry that never stands still. It was a valuable space to reconnect with the purpose behind what we do—and to recognize the impact strong, thoughtful leadership has on both our teams and our guests. #WeAreIberostar

At Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, we are proud to share that our commitment to quality, responsibility, and sustainable growth has delivered strong results: a 10% increase in global sales and an 8% rise in Average Daily Rate (ADR) in the first three quarters of 2025. Driving forward with a clear vision, we are pursuing selective expansion while continuously elevating our hotel portfolio. This November, we will open our 12th hotel in Mexico, and in 2026, we will mark our first property in Zanzibar, expanding our presence into new destinations. These achievements are the result of the passion and dedication of our 35,000 colleagues worldwide, whose daily commitment ensures our Responsible Tourism model continues to create value for guests, communities, and destinations alike. #ResponsibleTourism

This week our Vice-Chairman & CEO, Sabina Fluxá Thienemann and our Vice-Chairman & Chief Sustainability Officer, Gloria Fluxà Thienemann, took part in the WTTC Global Summit 2025 in Rome, one of the leading platforms for dialogue in the global tourism industry. At the summit, the World Travel and Tourism Council launched its new Ocean Campaign—supported by Iberostar—which celebrates the ocean’s vital role in climate, culture, and tourism. Gloria Fluxà, who also serves as Chair of the WTTC Sustainability Committee, introduced the initiative in her address. Through human-centred storytelling that uplifts traditions, destinations, and communities, the campaign seeks to inspire collective action and greater responsibility for ocean health. This milestone highlights the importance of collaboration with industry peers. Open conversations between leaders are imperative if we are to address the key issues facing global tourism and to accelerate positive change in the destinations where we operate. More detail on the campaign can be found here: https://lnkd.in/davPxFF8
