🥇 IOSCO's most-read publication is our Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MMoU). The IOSCO MMoU is a global framework that enables securities regulators to cooperate across borders through the exchange of information needed for investigations and enforcement actions in securities markets. Established in 2002, it has become a key tool in addressing cross-border misconduct and supporting the integrity of global financial markets. 🌍 The MMoU currently has 131 signatories worldwide, with the Financial Services Commission (FSC) Belize joining most recently in December last year. Regulators have used the MMoU to share information more than 63,000 times since 2003, highlighting its key role in international cooperation. To respond to evolving technological, societal, and market developments, IOSCO launched the Enhanced MMoU (EMMoU) in 2017, offering additional enforcement powers and now counting 29 signatories. 📈 As cross-border activity continues to grow, the use of the MMoU and EMMoU is expected to increase further, reinforcing their importance in the years ahead. ☔ Investor Protection is a cornerstone of IOSCO's mandate. In 2025, as part of its Roadmap for Retail Investor Online Safety initiative, IOSCO launched an investors alerts portal, the International Securities & Commodities Alerts Network (I-SCAN). 🚨 This platform is dedicated to helping combat investment fraud globally and is a unique global warning system where any investor, online platform provider, bank or institution can check if a suspicious activity has been flagged for a particular company by financial regulators worldwide. I-SCAN enables investors and stakeholders to identify - in one place - firms or potential investments that have been reported as unlicensed or as a scam in their country or elsewhere in the world, potentially saving them from fraud. 🌎 It is already being used widely, with over 600,000 views and thousands of alerts submitted by IOSCO members. Make sure to check it if you have any doubt when making an investment decision: https://lnkd.in/e4afT3pU
