  • 🌍 Europe builds the future. At Siemens Gamesa, we believe in Europe. That’s why we continue to invest in our blade factory in Aalborg, Denmark. To reach its climate goals, Europe must strengthen its industrial backbone and secure its supply chains. 📽️ Watch the video recorded by our colleagues of WindEurope as part of their campaign to showcase the value of Europe’s industrial strength and manufacturing capabilities. #TeamPurple #WindEnergy #MadeInEurope

Are big companies still manufacturing in Europe? Siemens Gamesa is in Aalborg. In our latest Wind Works for Europe episode, Lizet R. visits Siemens Gamesa’s blade factory in Aalborg. Watch how Piet Zangenberg explains why Siemens Gamesa is doubling down on European manufacturing. Aalborg is more than a factory. It’s the largest private employer in northern Denmark. Over 2,600 people work there. And it’s growing. Why Aalborg? It’s close to customers, ports and talent. But it’s also about supply security. Europe needs a strong industrial base to meet its climate goals. Siemens Gamesa believes in building that base here. But challenges remain. Logistics. Recycling. Fair competition. Permitting. The messages are clear: give us predictability. Speed up permitting. Ensure fair competition. • 💬 What makes a workplace truly special? In the final chapter of our global plants video series, we spotlight our people at the Cuxhaven factory in Germany, where offshore wind technology is powered by people. From a 55,000 m² site on the North Sea coast, our colleagues have manufactured more than 1,500 nacelles and delivered them to offshore wind projects around the world, including Hollandse Kust Zuid, Sunrise and Dominion in the U.S., and Greater Changhua in Taiwan, Asia Pacific’s largest offshore wind farm. Today, they are producing the latest 14 MW units, representing cutting-edge offshore wind technology. 🎥 In this video, some of our #TeamPurple colleagues share what makes working here special, but don’t take our word for it, hear it straight from them. 👷♀️👷♂️ Real voices. Real stories. Real impact.

🎤 The official launch of Provence Grand Large, the first floating offshore wind farm in France and the entire Mediterranean region, is already a reality. Siemens Gamesa is proud to have supplied the three wind turbines that are now delivering clean electricity to the French grid — enough to power around 45,000 people. Each turbine is mounted on a tension leg platform — a pioneering technology inspired by oil rig stabilization systems. Led by EDF power solutions in partnership with Enbridge and CPP Investments | Investissements RPC, this project opens a new chapter for floating wind in Europe. Congratulations to everyone involved! #WindEnergy #FloatingWind 📸 ©Ian Hanning-CAPA Pictures

🚢 Precision in Motion: We step into the port of Cuxhaven to witness wind energy logistics being orchestrated through the eyes of Emanuel Schestag, Port Coordinator at the Cuxhaven plant in Germany. From the controls of a SPMT (self-propelled modular transporter), Emanuel guides a huge offshore nacelle across the yard with surgical precision. These nacelles don’t move themselves. Skill, coordination and an in-depth knowledge of safety and timing are required to ensure they reach their destination intact and on schedule. This isn’t just logistics — it’s choreography. #TeamPurple
