Led by 3 Spanish co-founders Pablo Palafox, Javi Palafox and Luis Paarup in the Bay Area, HappyRobot is an emerging example of a startup finding real traction -- and revenue -- bringing AI to a specific vertical 🤖 🚛 Fast facts on HappyRobot: -ARR of $10M+ -$44M Series B led by Base10 Partners -Other investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, Tokio Marine Group and WaVe-X -Valued at ~$500M, per a source -Works with 8 of top 10 brokers, 2 of top 3 ocean carriers, and clients like DHL Supply Chain, Werner Enterprises, Schneider Is the tech all the way there yet? For voice features, mostly yes. For AI workflows, the startup still relies on FDEs to deploy its AI agents and "vibe-code" a last-mile solution. “It’s very much a Rorschach test. Part of the summer series! Paradores is a Spanish state-owned chain of hotels created in 1928 that are usually located in historic buildings or in nature areas with a special appeal. With more than 5,000 employees, each year they host 1.5 million visitors in its 97 sites across Spain. Paradores embarked on a project to elevate the customer experience with more personalisation and improve business efficiency, optimising logistics, operations and finance processes. Together with Minsait, an AWS partner, Paradores is migrating to the AWS cloud to optimise data management while fully aligning with compliance, privacy and data protection.
