We are excited to share the latest development from our tree plantation project at the Piedras Negras location.   We are proud to announce a milestone in our sustainability journey at Macroplaza II! Our team has successfully planted 130 evergreen oak trees around Central Park in Piedras Negras, marking a significant step towards reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental wellness in the region. These trees are expected to absorb a substantial amount of CO₂ each year, helping offset a meaningful portion of our plant's electricity-related emissions. At Motherson Group, great teams are built both in and out of the office. Our team from the Klaipėda facility recently wrapped up the summer by participating in the 20th anniversary Charity Football Tournament, organised by the Klaipėda Business Park.   It was a day of teamwork and community spirit. Our Motherson football team played with passion on the field, while colleagues showed incredible support from the sidelines. This event was an opportunity to strengthen our bonds and come together for a meaningful purpose.   The funds raised during the tournament were donated to the Association of People with Down Syndrome and Their Caregivers. At Motherson Group, we believe that investing in our people is the key to building a brighter future. At our facility in Campo Alegre, we organise an online English scholarship program designed to help our team enhance their verbal communication skills. This programme is about building connections and confidence! Every month, we bring our participants together for coffee events where they can practice their English in a warm and supportive environment. Each student prepares a short presentation on a themed topic, sharing their progress with colleagues. After the presentations, we gather to enjoy a well-deserved coffee, celebrate achievements, and strengthen our sense of community. Our team in Poland recently hosted Bone Marrow Donor Days at our factory in Starachowice, making a meaningful impact in the fight against life-threatening illnesses. This impactful event was designed to raise awareness about the critical need for bone marrow donors, encourage new registrations, and ultimately offer hope to patients battling blood cancers and other life-threatening illnesses. Throughout the week, our team organised on-site donor registration drives, hosting educational sessions on the bone marrow donation process, and facilitating the collection of cheek swabs and blood samples from potential donors. These efforts informed, inspired and also empowered individuals to take action and make a difference. We are thrilled to share that the campaign was a success! Thanks to the compassion and commitment of our work community, we registered numerous new potential donors, each one representing a chance to save a life. This achievement is a testament to the power of collective action and the incredible impact we can have when we come together for a meaningful cause. At Motherson Group, our commitment to sustainable practices drives us to make a difference globally. Throughout the year, our team collected small electronic devices and used batteries to ensure safe and responsible recycling. We handed over 400 kg of collected waste for recycling!
