The association is focused on the development of the professional capabilities of its members and is the leader in the national debate on corporate governance. The association publishes policy and position papers, guidelines and recommendations on corporate governance.
The DIFFuture programme offers opportunities to develop corporate board skills, network and learn directly from senior board professionals. The programme consists of trainings, meetings and sessions focused on specific elements of board work. The programme is designed for executives who have not yet transitioned to full-time non-executive board roles.

The pace at which organisations have changed has been materially slower than advances in technology. The breakdown of antiquated mindsets, in respect of remote working arrangements driven by COVID-19, has unleashed an ability for organisations to catch up. Within the banking sector, new digital native players have forced incumbents to up their game despite the latter continuing to operate models conducive to, among other things, bureaucracy, high cost bases and reduced agility. This paper assesses the backdrop behind the transformational shift to remote working, attempts to underline the significance of robust leadership and clear corporate strategy, and ponders several potential future actions that banks might consider when assessing the ‘new normal’. The authors propose that it is those organisations that embrace the opportunity landscape that presents itself that will secure stakeholder value creation in the long term.

Katso projektiFounder of the concept banking service “strm” (pronounced /stri:m/), which was launched at SLUSH in 2015. The concept idea was to explore the topic of “social banking” and biometric payments.
The prototype “strm” showcased a fingerprint authentication based payment terminal, streamlining the payment process for consumers and businesses alike, bypassing cumbersome cards, cash or CRM systems.

The prototype “strm” showcased a fingerprint authentication based payment terminal, streamlining the payment process for consumers and businesses alike, bypassing cumbersome cards, cash or CRM systems.
At SLUSH in November 2015, attendees who downloaded the app were able to pay for their lunch at food trucks with their finger. Over 200 payments were processed at the conference with positive user feedback and media attention.
Strm was funded by Santander and developed by the founder and the design agency Nordkapp.

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking has acted as financial advisor to Zenobē and its sponsors KKR and Infracapital in their raise of a new €325m multicurrency debt facility. The facility is provided in multiple currencies (EUR, DKK, NOK, and SEK) to support Zenobē in expanding their electric bus fleets-as-a-service across the European market. This is a landmark transaction that will allow the incorporation of up to 1,000 electric buses, trucks and chargers, and consolidates Santander Corporate & Investment Banking’s position as a key advisor for the clean-mobility transition.

Founded in 2017, Spring is a well-established management consultancy, that supports company executives and owners in making and implementing strategic decisions, improving operational and financial performance, and completing M&A processes and transactions. Rejlers acquired 51 percent of Spring. The company’s founders and other shareholders will remain as minority owners and continue in their current roles. Handelsbanken acted as sole financial advisor in connection with the transaction.
