I’ve been working as a frontend developer for over 10 years. I have tried many different technologies to make JavaScript more manageable - frameworks, libraries, programming languages but few have significantly improved my experience as a developer.

I came across ReScript end of summer 2023 and soon adopted it in one of my projects. It feels the right blend between type safety and ease of integration with the vast JavaScript ecosystem. I am now adding ReScript to every project we build at the agency I run in Glasgow, UK.

I hope that in the years to come we can create a strong community of ReScript developers here in Scotland.
