How can we trust #LargeLanguageModels, although they (sometimes) invent facts? Addressing the critical issue of #hallucination is the focus of our latest #researchpaper. 🔎 Inspired from the physics of entropy, our team has developed a practical, single-pass method to detect these fabrications in real-time, working within the constraints of everyday black-box LLM APIs. By learning to interpret a model's token-level uncertainty, our approach can pinpoint the exact words that are likely to be incorrect. This method has direct applications for improving the reliability of RAG systems and was successfully experimented and user-tested on a financial agent developed with our partners at Ardian. Congrats to Charles Moslonka, Hicham R., Arthur Garnier, Emmanuel Malherbe for their work ! 2️⃣🌍 When planetary boundaries meet corporate #sustainability metrics: Our measurement framework accepted at the Corporate Responsibility Research Conference 2025! Our joint paper “Downscaling Planetary Boundaries to Assess Corporate Sustainability Performance” has been accepted for oral presentation at the CRR Conference taking place in Paris on the 29th of October 2025! The paper is a collaboration between Artefact Research Centre, ESCP Business School (Oualid Mokhantar) and Politecnico di Milano (Laura Dell'Agostino).
