At Believe, shaping the music industry also means shaping a better future. 🌍💚  This summer, through our global engagement event Shaping together, more than 350 employees across 50 countries joined a month-long sports & wellbeing challenge with our partner United Heroes. We collectively reached 1.3 million points – far beyond our initial goal – and transformed this energy into a 15 000€ donation to support reforestation projects around the globe.   A huge thank you to all Believers who made this impact possible and proved once again that when we move together, we can make a real difference. #Believe #ShapingMusicforGood #ShapingTogether

I’m thrilled to share a major milestone for our operations in Germany: Believe Music Publishing is officially launching! This strategic expansion builds on our 2023 acquisition of Sentric, and marks our full entrance into the publishing space. It allows us to offer our artists, songwriters, and partners a more holistic suite of services, from recording to publishing, under the Believe umbrella. I’m particularly proud to introduce Alexandra Ziem as Head of Publishing Germany. Alexandra will lead our local team, shape our publishing strategy, and be the driving force behind building a vibrant roster in Germany. Her vision, industry experience, and passion for creators make her the perfect leader for this venture!

What does “Access to Success” really mean in today’s music industry? That was the focus of my conversation with Rob Schwartz at Music Matters 2025 — an honest look at how Believe’s artist development model is evolving, and what it means to build the future as one global artist development company anchored in strong local ecosystems. When we started Believe 20 years ago, the mission was simple: give every artist and label equal access to the digital music world. We’ve helped make that happen. But access alone isn’t enough anymore. The real challenge now is turning access into success — helping local artists cut through the noise, connect with their audiences, and build careers that last. That’s the shift we’re driving. From being a company that opens doors to one that helps artists walk through them — with the right data, local expertise, and long-term support. Because lasting success can’t be imported — it has to be built locally, by nurturing local talent, strengthening local labels, and keeping value where the music is made. In APAC, that evolution has been a decade in the making. Since 2013, we’ve helped build a sustainable digital music ecosystem across the region — supporting local genres, homegrown labels, and new audiences. In 2025 alone, we launched BEEEF in Thailand and Mahra Tora in India — imprints designed to empower emerging indie-pop and regional artists with creative freedom and data-driven strategy. The results speak for themselves: Yellow Bucks leading the charts in Japan, and Sanju Rathod, Fellow Fellow, and Sal Priadi breaking streaming records across Asia. Our focus remains clear: deepen the digital experience, build fair and transparent partnerships with platforms, and fuel the growth of local success stories with global reach. It was great to see this vision continued on stage by Pananingtyas Prabantari, our Head of Artist Services in Indonesia, in her discussion with Spotify’s Kossy Ng and Rob Schwartz — exploring how collaboration between platforms and local partners can help artists stand out, and how creativity and data can turn opportunity into real impact. At Believe, we’ve stayed true to the same idea from day one: Every artist, wherever they are, deserves a real path to success — built locally, growing globally. The music publishing landscape is changing fast, driven by data and a new generation of independent creators, and with digital representing the largest part of the growth. At Believe, we see this evolution as an opportunity to rethink what publishing can and should be be: fairer, more accurate and more transparent. The launch of Believe Music Publishing is a milestone to build one global artist development company, bringing recording and publishing together under one roof. By combining the digital expertise of Believe with the publishing excellence of Sentric, we’re creating a new kind of ecosystem, one that empowers artists, songwriters, labels, and publishers with technology, global reach, and collaboration at its core. This is how we’re shaping the next era of music publishing : A best-in-class global collection network delivering more royalties back to creators. With optimized payment systems for faster and fairer payouts, dedicated creative and sync teams to drive more global opportunities and proprietary technology ensuring complete transparency. We will create unique synergies across publishing and recording, as in today’s music industry, empowering creators means connecting every part of their journey, and that’s exactly what we’re building. We should reflect on those figures as they are basically saying that local creators and local music cultures, in some of the world’s biggest markets, are not finding enough visibility and support they need and deserve. At Believe, we see this as one of the defining challenges of the music industry’s next decade. The future of music will not be shaped solely by global superstars, it will be built among many artists and labels who represent the depth, creativity, identity and diversity of each local market. To get there, we need to rethink how we invest and how we support local talent. It means deploying smarter digital tools, ensuring artists can fully leverage discovery features on DSPs, and developing bespoke services that meet the unique needs of each local scene. It means working hand in hand with platforms, partners, trade buddies and institution to rebalance the playing field, so that local voices are heard and celebrated. Our vision is clear: we need to help build strong, self-sustaining local ecosystems where artists can grow their audiences at home, create careers that last, and ultimately bring local culture to the world stage. When local music thrives, the entire industry becomes more diverse, more resilient, and more fair. Believe https://lnkd.in/ewYMTDMd
