Over half of engineering and R&D organizations see reduced development and aftersales costs as a top benefit of digital technology. Nearly as many see it as a way to reduce time to market and improve customer experience. But where are companies placing their bets? What are the stand out technology priorities? It's no surprise that Gen AI has entered the shortlist for digital engineering capabilities, but our research shows that it has burst onto the scene – as a top three priority for 22% of companies. Most leaders plan to achieve scale within the next three years. But what about their current capabilities? 35% of leaders rate their current digital engineering abilities as ahead of the competition, but 27% are behind. When asked why they’re behind:   • 25% can't find a suitable tech vendor • 34% said digital engineering has minimal or no impact on their products • 42% don’t have sufficient in-house tech talent   Organizational roadblocks further hinder digital progress, but leaders are finding ways to overcome the challenges. Ensemble, nous avons exploré un sujet d’avenir pour la filière : l’intégration de l’IA dans les procédés de #bioproduction. 🎯 Une collaboration qui incarne l’esprit France BioLead : partager les expertises, croiser les regards, et avancer collectivement pour bâtir une bioproduction plus innovante, performante et fiable. 📌 Trois axes ont guidé nos échanges : • Collecte, structuration et qualité des données • Accélération et sécurisation du ramp-up • Acceptabilité et confiance vis-à-vis de l’IA 💡 Ce qu’on retient de cette session hybride : • La donnée est un levier stratégique : bien structurée, elle permet de sécuriser les procédés, de mieux collaborer et d’anticiper dans un cadre réglementaire exigeant. • Les modèles mécanistiques montent en puissance pour optimiser la montée en échelle. • Un paradoxe persistant entre innovation technologique et réticences à l’usage chez les experts du secteur. • Des cas concrets, partagés par nos partenaires, ont illustré les freins actuels… mais aussi les leviers pour aller plus loin.
