  • ENGIE and CVE (Changeons Notre Vision de l'Energie) sign a 15-year biomethane supply agreement under France’s Biogas Production Certificates (CPB) scheme. This strategic partnership strengthens the security of green gas supply and supports the national target of 44 TWh of biomethane injected by 2030. Starting in 2027, the Ludres anaerobic digestion facility (Grand Est) will supply ENGIE clients, highlighting the rise of a local, sustainable energy sector: 31 GWh/year of biomethane, 11,800 tons of CO₂ avoided, energy for 8,000 new homes, and 33,000 tons of natural fertilizer returned to the soil. This long-term agreement demonstrates ENGIE’s role in developing competitive, traceable, and sustainable renewable gas markets, contributing directly to the energy transition.

  • ENGIE and Imerys have signed a 10-year virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) for 2 TWh of renewable electricity in Spain! This agreement marks a major milestone in both companies’ sustainability roadmaps and reinforces their commitment to supporting Europe’s energy transition and industrial decarbonization. ENGIE will develop and operate three new solar farms in Spain, scheduled for commissioning between end 2026 and early 2027. Once operational, the vPPA will cover 24% of Imerys’ annual electricity needs in Continental Europe, enabling a reduction of 70,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent per year. ENGIE’s integrated solution combines solar asset development, energy management and the structuring of a tailored vPPA aligned with Imerys’ long-term sustainability goals. In line with its global strategy, ENGIE is deploying 7 GW of renewable and storage capacity every year, aiming to reach 95 GW of installed capacity by 2030.
