Dissemination Update: ChemiNova at the 47th ECVP 2025 Mainz Conference! During the 47th European Conference on Visual Perception (ECVP 2025 Mainz), held from the 24 to 28 August 2025 in Mainz, Germany (General Chairs: Philipp Urban and Christoph Freiherr von Castell), ChemiNova actively participated in the MANER Workshop (Material Appearance Network for Education & Research). Our colleague, Amine Dahmouni (and Alamin Mansouri as principal investigator of this work from the ImVia Lab, Université de Bourgogne Europe), delivered a communication detailing our latest work and findings. This contribution to the MANER Workshop will also be subject to subsequent publication, ensuring the knowledge generated endures and is accessible to the research communities in visual perception and material science. We extend our sincere thanks to Amine Dahmouni for the presentation, and to Alamin Mansouri and the Université de Bourgogne Europe for ensuring that ChemiNova’s research results reach this specialised scientific audience and contribute to the advancements in visual perception and material appearance. #ChemiNovaEU #CulturalHeritage #Research #Digitalisation #conservation

Séminaire de Jean Marin sur le "Modèle de simulation Monte Carlo pour la propagation de la lumière à travers la peau."

Nous avons reçu la visite de July Galeano Zea et Artur Zarzycki de l'Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano de Medellín, Colombie. Après un tour du plateau technique du Creusot, ils nous ont présenté leurs travaux : "Applications of Multispectral Imaging in Dermatology and Heritage in Colombia: Study of Cutaneous Leishmaniasis and Rock Art".

Du 16 au 20 juin 2025, l'école d'été "Measurement and characterisation of non-uniform appearance (texture) using sensors" a été organisée par le laboratoire ImViA, l’institut de recherche XLIM et le GRIFT, en collaboration avec le réseau HR2S.
