❤️🔥 Paul Vidal has always had CEO energy. But becoming CTO of Collective.work turned out to be his calling. Paul studied computer science not just to code, but to launch a startup. After all - If he could build the product himself, what could stop him? After three years at Datadog, surrounded by world-class engineers, he felt unstoppable. It could’ve been the perfect time to go solo. But something unexpected happened: He had absolutely fallen in love with the build - and staying that close to product in his entrepreneurial journey meant finding the right partner. ⚡ When he first met Jean de Rauglaudre through Hexa’s network, the chemistry was instant. Two distinct sets of skills. “At the start of my degree, I thought being able to build meant I could do it all myself”, says Paul. “But over time, I realised what I really wanted wasn’t control, it was to stay close to the product. And to do that, I needed partners I could build something great with, and who could sell it much better than me.” Four years - and many pivots - later, Collective is now home to 50,000+ freelancer careers.
