[Logbook entry 18/09/2025] A new chapter opens in Kourou, and Latitude is right there to write it! The first stone of the new "Ensemble Multi-Lanceurs" (ELM) has been laid by Centre National d'Études Spatiales on the ground that once hosted the Diamant Rocket program 🇫🇷 This site is now set to become the hub for Europe’s new generation of #LaunchOperators 🚀 Latitude was represented at the ceremony by Stanislas Maximin Executive Chairman, and Antoine ARVEILLER Head of Tests, alongside our European peers from Isar Aerospace PLD Space and Rocket Factory Augsburg - RFA 🇪🇸🇩🇪 🔜 For us, this milestone marks the beginning of our own launchpad building operations in French Guiana and soon, from here, our Launcher Zephyr will reach for orbit. This step is not only about preparing future launches, it also reflects our commitment to anchoring ourselves in #CentreSpatialGuyanais, growing with the local ecosystem and contributing to the future of this historic spaceport. We thank CNES, The Centre Spatial Guyanais Rectorat de la Guyane and all the institutions driving these projects forward, enabling European launch services to diversify and securing sovereign access to orbit for all operators willing to work with us.

[Logbook entry 23/06/2025] A key milestone is now locked in: the maiden flight of our #Launcher Zephyr will lift off from our own #launchpad at the #CentreSpatialGuyanais in French Guiana 🚀🌴⤴️ This new pad, hosted on the upcoming ELM #1 also called Diamant complex, will be operated by Latitude. It marks a major investment on our side, and a renewed chapter for French and European space #Sovereignty, with a new actor building, testing, assembling, and launching from national territory 🇫🇷🇪🇺 To make it happen, we’re indeed committing over 8 million euros to develop the launchpad and will open a dedicated subsidiary on site, ensuring a long-term presence and strong local collaboration. In the coming months, Latitude teams will work closely on site with Centre National d'Études Spatiales and European Space Agency - ESA to shape this new infrastructure and make it a state-of-the-art hub for our future missions 🏗️⏩ Beyond the operational benefits, this project will contribute to the vitality of this strategic #Spaceport and reinforce its key role for European access to orbit 🇪🇺🚀✅ We warmly thank all the public stakeholders who make this possible: CNES, ESA, Secretary general for investment, Direction Générale des Entreprises, the Gouvernement and the European Commission, for their continuous support. 🎞️ Get a first glimpse of what’s to come with this brand-new 3D simulation of our Launcher liftoff from ELM Diamant 🔜 Our 1st flight is coming next year, and we can’t wait to make it real!
