I would like to thank the OECD - OCDE Secretariat, led by the Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and OECD Tax Director Manal S. Corwin, and colleagues from the Ministries of Finance - Receita Federal - and Foreign Affairs - for this important achievement. The G20-OECD Inclusive Framework on BEPS is a significant contribution to multilateralism and international cooperation, enhancing transparency, efficiency and fairness in tax matters.
O Embaixador Sarquis Sarquis assinou, em 20/10, em nome do Governo Brasileiro, a Convenção Multilateral da OCDE para Implementar Medidas Relacionadas a Tratados Tributários para Prevenir a Erosão da Base Tributária e a Transferência de Lucros (BEPS MLI). A assinatura reforça o compromisso do Brasil com o multilateralismo e com o fortalecimento da cooperação internacional em matéria tributária, no âmbito do Quadro Inclusivo sobre BEPS, do qual o país é membro desde sua criação. The signature reaffirms Brazil’s commitment to multilateralism and to the strengthening of international cooperation on tax matters, within the framework of the Inclusive Framework on BEPS, of which Brazil has been a member since its creation.
