🌱 Seabex and SUEZ Join Forces for a More Resilient Agriculture with Biochar At Seabex, our mission has always been clear: to help farmers make better decisions for a sustainable, high-performing, and resource-efficient agriculture. Today, we are proud to announce a strategic partnership with SUEZ, a global leader in water and waste management, to experiment with an innovative solution: biochar. Why Biochar? Produced through high-temperature pyrolysis of biomass in the absence of oxygen, biochar has been identified by the IPCC as one of the five most effective negative-emission solutions for long-term carbon sequestration. But the benefits of biochar go far beyond that. In agriculture, it acts as a natural soil amendment, enhancing water retention, nutrient availability, microbial life, and more—in short, everything that matters for healthy, productive soils. 🤝 A Partnership at the Crossroads of Technology and Environmental Impact By joining forces with SUEZ, we aim to go further: to scientifically measure the actual impact of biochar on soil health and crop resilience to water stress. Starting in September 2025 and thanks to our technology—powered by artificial intelligence, satellite imagery, and ground data collection—we’ll be able to closely monitor the development of the tested plots and assess performance over time.
