Turning carbon capture ambition into reality with the first Canopy by T.EN powered by Shell CANSOLV® in operation. We're proud to celebrate an important achievement: the successful start of operations of Carbon Centric's carbon capture facility with CO₂ utilization in Rakkestad, Norway, featuring the first Canopy by T.EN™ powered by Shell CANSOLV®. We extend our sincere thanks to Carbon Centric for their trust in bringing this project to life. The facility was officially inaugurated on October 16 by Fredrik Häger and Kenneth Juul from Carbon Centric, who were joined by Florence Robine, the French Ambassador to Norway, and Astrid Bergmål, State Secretary in the Norwegian Ministry of Energy, with key industry leaders in attendance to witness this important step forward for carbon capture. This first-of-a-kind facility is designed to capture around 10,000 tons of CO₂ per year, with a recovery rate above 95%. Realized in alliance with Shell Catalysts & Technologies and supported by our Norwegian subsidiary KANFA, this project demonstrates how our committed collaboration and integrated expertise, combined with the proven amine-based Shell CANSOLV® carbon capture technology, ensures seamless execution and continuous performance optimization, accelerating the deployment of carbon capture solutions and delivering real impact. Bringing our people together in Qatar! 🙌 This week, we hosted a joint employee event in Qatar, bringing together teams from the North Field East (NFE) and North Field South (NFS) projects, as well as our Doha office. The event featured a panel discussion with our CEO Arnaud Pieton, Chief Business Officer Marco Villa Qatar Managing Director Edouard Thevenin, and executive project directors Paul Appia and Christophe BAUDEL, followed by an engaging Q&A session and a networking reception. Our teams in Qatar, represent over 50 nationalities, gathered to share experiences, insights, and aspirations. A true celebration of our diversity, collaboration, and a shared purpose. Significant milestone achieved at Malaysia’s first melamine plant.   The melamine plant project in Kedah, Malaysia, for which we were awarded an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) contract by our client PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) in 2022, recently received its Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) certificate. With a plant capacity of 60,000 metric tons per annum (TPA), the plant enhances Malaysia’s melamine self-sufficiency and industrial value chain and uses advanced melamine technology and interconnections with the existing urea plant.  Melamine is a chemical that can be used to manufacture plastics, building materials, and industrial coatings, among others. The country’s first melamine plant will also strengthen Malaysia’s position in import substitution, value-added downstream manufacturing, and chemical diversification under the growth roadmap of PETRONAS Chemicals. #TechnipEnergies #BePartOfTheSolution #Melamine

The Shell Catalysts & Technologies – Technip Energies alliance hosts its first-ever CANSOLV Users Forum in London!      Together with our alliance partner, and in the presence of our CEO Arnaud Pieton, our CTO Wei Cai and Julie CRANGA, our SVP Decarbonization Solutions, we explored how to make carbon capture investable together and shared experiences, ideas and learnings across the carbon capture and storage (CCS) community.      We’re proud of the growing engagement around the carbon capture solutions we deliver as an alliance, and grateful for the meaningful exchanges that will continue to drive decarbonization forward.      Thank you to all participants, speakers, partners, and organizers for your insights, energy and collaborative spirit. Awarded two engineering services contracts for Ecoplanta, a first-of-a-kind waste-to-methanol facility in Spain 🏆 🇪🇸     The engineering services contracts awarded by repsol for the Ecoplanta project cover the entire delivery scope:  1️⃣ The first contract covers the Enerkem Core Process, developed in partnership with Enerkem  2️⃣ The second is for the Balance of Plant, ensuring the integration of all project units    Powered by Enerkem’s cutting-edge gasification technology, the plant will process up to 400,000 tons of non-recyclable municipal waste and produce 240,000 tons of renewable methanol annually. ♻️    This award builds on the strategic collaboration agreement we signed with Enerkem in 2024 and illustrates the strength of our partnership in accelerating the deployment of circular solutions at scale.    Read our press release: https://lnkd.in/emjXGcFA   #TechnipEnergies #BePartOfTheSolution #Circularity
