We're honored that NEUTRAL and THE REMAKERS received the Innovation Award in the Energy Transition, Sustainable Development, and Circular Economy category. This recognition celebrates a European first: the complete remanufacturing of an electric vehicle powertrain, including motor and power electronics. With quality equivalent to new parts and prices averaging 30% lower, this innovation demonstrates that sustainability and competitiveness go hand in hand. Throughout the week, our teams engaged with industry leaders, partners, and innovators who share our vision. From roundtables exploring end-of-life vehicle centers concentration and battery repairability to conferences on remanufacturing and reused parts, the conversations reinforced a crucial message: collaboration is key to transforming automotive mobility. As Europe's only complete circular economy player for all carmakers, we remain dedicated to our mission: collecting, dismantling, reusing, remanufacturing, and recycling parts and materials to reintroduce them into the automotive lifecycle—from car to car. With 400,000 end-of-life vehicles processed annually, 9 million reused parts put back into circulation, and 2 million tonnes of materials recycled each year, we're scaling industrial circularity to preserve both our environment and Europe's strategic sovereignty. Our participation at EQUIP AUTO highlights the relevance of our competitive approach to circular economy in the automotive sector. Our next step is to scale up and engage with all industry stakeholders—manufacturers, suppliers, insurers, repairers, and users—to accelerate the transition toward sustainable mobility across Europe. At NEUTRAL, we are dedicated to driving the transition towards a circular economy by leveraging existing raw materials and parts rather than extracting new ones. Last week, Laurent CLAUDE, Technical Director at NEUTRAL, had the privilege of attending the Sustainability in Product and Production Engineering 2025 conference in Bad Nauheim, Germany. In collaboration with SABIC Solutions for Automotive, a leading material solutions provider, we showcased an innovative automotive grade of recycled polypropylene designed for bumper production. This material integrates 25% closed-loop recycled content, enabling a circular approach from bumper to bumper. It not only supports decarbonization roadmaps but also facilitates the integration of recycled materials from end-of-life vehicles, all without waiting for future regulations. This partnership highlights our commitment to driving sustainability in the automotive industry, pushing forward the transition to a circular economy.

🗣️ Yesterday, our Chief Business Officer, Xavier Kaufman, participated in the insightful roundtable discussion “Unlocking the Potential of Reused Parts and Building a Balanced Industry Ecosystem” at the Autoactu.com “The Bodyshop Market: A Growth Opportunity” conference, held in Paris in collaboration with C-Ways.  Joining Rodolphe POUVREAU and Nicolas Proupech, Xavier shared our vision for scaling the reuse of automotive parts (PRE) and fortifying the circular economy within the industry. Here’s what we’re observing:  ➡️ 40% of authorized dismantlers (CVHU) still don’t extract parts to be reused (#PRE) ➡️ Among those that do, performance varies significantly: from 10-15 parts per vehicle to 25-30 for the good performers and over 100 for some recent crashed vehicles. ➡️ Digitalization and industrialization are crucial: currently, 600 CVHUs are using #Opisto DMS to maximize the extracted value, out of 1,700 in France. Our subsidiary INDRA AUTOMOBILE RECYCLING supports dismantlers in adapting their processes and facilities to improve productivity and revenue per #ELV. ➡️ The financial gap is evident: the best operators cab generate up to €1,400 per ELV with parts and materials, whereas the market average remains around €600. At The Future Is Neutral, our mission is to support dismantlers in refining deconstruction practices, ultimately driving growth in the reused parts market, which brings about: ➡️ More sustainable value for all players, including end-consumers. ➡️ Reduced waste and increased recovery. ➡️ Up to 90% CO₂ savings with respect to new spare parts. 💡 By partnering with innovators like Opisto, we are also working to enhance service offerings, including availability and customer service. 📉 As fewer end-of-life vehicles enter the market, standing still is not an option! The sector is viable, but must remain on the move—more investment are needed to adapt and extracting more from each ELV is a must-have to preserve a good profitability.
