𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄... 🐄 ...𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀 (𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗔) is a silent threat to cattle health and productivity? When 𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗛 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝟱.𝟴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟯 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆, the balance of the microbial population is disrupted, favoring acid-producing bacteria over fiber-digesting ones. It leads to excessive carbohydrates fermentations, causing an accumulation of lactic acid which decrease even more pH, driving an insidious cycle of rumen inflammation and long-term digestive damage with 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀  : 🔸 Rumen inflammation and increased rumen wall permeability 🔸 Increased risk of other pathologies 🔸 Reduced dry matter intake and performances 🔸 Less rumination per unit of feed consumed 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗛 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 before SARA impacts herd performance through different actions : 🔍 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗛 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Equip few cows with rumen boluses measuring pH and set alerts for any drop below 5.8 lasting over 3 hours. 🍽️ 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 : Adapt to 3-4 meals per day and ensure ≥ 40 % of TMR particles exceed 8 mm to boost chewing and saliva buffering. ⚡ 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗛𝗶𝘅-𝘂𝗽®: a unique blend of specially selected MgO sources, providing both fast and long-lasting action on pH.
