Two days to reconnect, learn and share On October 9 and 10, all our Tech Leads came together for a seminar full of discussions, workshops and practical sessions. We shared updates on Veepee’s strategy for the coming years, reviewed the pillars that guide our work, aligned on our vision and goals and talked through key HR topics. Our marketing colleagues shared useful insights on upcoming business challenges. Their perspective led to great discussions and reminded us how closely tech and business are connected. We finally ended with a visit to one of our datacenters.  Operating our private cloud and hosting environments is a cornerstone of Veepee tech strategy. On the road again: our Hackathon Tour keeps gowing ! Earlier this year, we kicked off an internal Hackathon Tour across our main Tech hubs. Since the summer break, the tour has already passed through Lyon and Nantes and we’re now getting ready for Nice and Warsaw. What’s happening with #ecommerce in Spain? We’ve just shared the Veepee-IESE V Study on the future of ecommerce, done in partnership with IESE Business School and Kantar. This year’s edition focuses on how different generations behave online. The report (in Spanish) shows some interesting trends: 🔹 Gen Z is leading the change: they use their phones, shop on many channels, act fast and like new things like AI, lockers and live shopping. 🔹 AI and apps help people find better deals, get smart suggestions and enjoy a smoother shopping experience. 🔹 Trust and sustainability are still very important, more people buy second-hand online and care about secure payments and good service.

Hackathon tour: 3 cities, 5 days, 460 people Our internal Tech Hackathon tour just wrapped up its first chapter! Over the past weeks, we’ve gathered our tech teams in several of our key locations for a full day of GenAI training followed by an engaging, team-driven hackathon. The goal? Learn, build and push boundaries. The result? Projects that surprised us, challenged us and showed just how far creativity can go when GenAI meets tech talent. We’re taking a short break for the summer ☀️ but we’ll be back in the fall to continue the journey and bring the same experience to all our other tech hubs. Two days ago at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Jacques-Antoine Granjon, our Founder and CEO, was awarded two Gold Trophies during an evening celebrating 30 years of e-commerce in France, organized by LSA and Colissimo-La Poste Groupe. This double distinction, in the categories “They launched e-commerce in France” and “They launched new models or entered new markets”, acknowledges his leading role in the development of e-commerce in France and Europe for nearly 25 years with Veepee.

Earlier this month, Veepee held its very first Work Honor Medal ceremony — a meaningful moment to recognize the dedication and lasting impact of those who’ve helped shape the company over the years.💫 The Work Honor Medal, traditionally awarded by the state, recognizes employees for their long-standing commitment and the quality of their contributions throughout their careers. 🎖️ Fifteen remarkable colleagues, with between 14 and 25 years of service, were honored by our Founder & CEO, Jacques-Antoine Granjon, who personally presented them with their medals. A special mention to Maxime VINCENT, a valued member of our Tech department, whose exceptional dedication and contributions were recognized. 🌟 Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement!

Last week, our office in La Plaine Saint-Denis turned into one big playground for #KidsDay at Veepee! 🎉 We welcomed our team members' children for a fun-filled day with creative workshops, games, cartoons, a ball pit, face painting, 3D printing, and even mini sumo fights! Thanks to our amazing events team and partners for making it such a special day! Smiles everywhere — from kids and adults! 😊

Two days. One place. Many minds Last week, we brought together all our Tech Leads from Veepee’s various offices for an energizing seminar in Paris.  It was more than just a meetup, it was a moment to connect, align, and reflect. Day 1 was packed with valuable insights from internal leaders: Minh Quang PHAM, Valentina Dalvit, Bruno AMADEI including our Tech experts, Fathi Bellahcene and Thomas Consul who gave us a clear view of our current challenges, goals, and ambitions. Day 2 was dedicated to workshops and one very inspiring keynote from Marc Amerigo, engineer entrepreneur, project leader, author, international speaker & co-founder of Zephir Project whose background and energy really resonated with us all. 🙌 The conversations sparked during those two days will definitely help shape what’s next. Exciting times ahead!
