[What if we put biodiversity at the heart of our projects?🌿]   As part of the Fondation d'entreprise FEREC's call for projects, we were delighted to present MYOTIS, a project born out of a shared conviction 👉 biodiversity must be considered a true performance indicator. 🎯 While climate, social and economic performance are already measured, biodiversity remains without a shared benchmark. The MYOTIS project aims to fill this gap by creating a standard for measuring biodiversity that can be deployed on all major construction projects, from design to operation. For a year, experts from all backgrounds (ecologists, engineers, researchers, construction industry professionals) pooled their skills to build a lasting link between the construction industry and ecology. Their goal: to measure nature, make biodiversity visible and integrate it even more fully from the initial design decisions for infrastructure projects through to operation. MYOTIS is much more than a research project; it is a collective effort to rethink the way we design and evaluate our projects, with biodiversity at the centre 🐿️ 🤝 Thank you to the FEREC Foundation and all our partners for their trust and commitment (Société des grands projets, Egis, AgroParisTech, DODIN CAMPENON BERNARD, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, VINCI Construction en France, VINCI Concessions). [Et si on mettait la biodiversité au cœur de nos projets ?🌿]   Dans le cadre des appels à projets Fondation d'entreprise FEREC, nous avons eu le plaisir de présenter MYOTIS, un projet né d’une conviction partagée 👉 la biodiversité doit être considérée comme un véritable indicateur de performance. 🎯 Si la performance climatique, sociale ou économique se mesure déjà, la biodiversité, elle, reste sans repère partagé. Le projet MYOTIS vise à combler ce manque en créant un standard de mesure de la biodiversité déployable sur tous les grands projets de construction, de la conception à l'exploitation. Pendant un an, des experts venus de tout horizon (écologues, ingénieurs, chercheurs, acteurs du BTP) ont uni leurs compétences pour construire un lien durable entre les acteurs du BTP et de l'écologie. Leur objectif : donner une mesure à la nature, rendre visible la biodiversité pour l’intégrer encore plus dès les premières décisions de conception des projets d’infrastructure et ce, jusqu’à l’exploitation. [💡Highlight on...the Aqua-Eco ramp]   💧 Water on a construction site is like coffee on Monday morning: essential! For the construction industry, and particularly earthworks, water management is a major challenge. Water is essential on our construction sites: it reduces dust by watering tracks and stabilises the ground for optimum compaction. [🔎Zoom sur…La rampe Aqua-Eco]   💧 L'eau sur un chantier, c'est comme le café le lundi matin : indispensable ! Pour le secteur de la construction, et plus particulièrement le terrassement, la gestion de l'eau est un enjeu majeur. Sur nos chantiers, l’eau est essentielle : elle permet de réduire les envols de poussières par l’arrosage des pistes ou encore de stabiliser les sols pour un compactage optimum. Mais son utilisation doit être pensée pour limiter le gaspillage et préserver cette ressource vitale, en voie de raréfaction.   C'est là qu'intervient la rampe Aqua-Eco : ✅ Réduction des consommations : grâce à une diffusion homogène et ciblée, la rampe économise 40 % d’eau par rapport aux arrosages classiques  ✅Performance : la bonne quantité d’eau au bon endroit garantit une meilleure préservation des pistes ✅Sécurité : la juste dose d’eau garantit une sécurité pour le roulement des engins et évite de glisser ✅ Eco-responsabilité : un outil concret pour accompagner nos chantiers vers plus de sobriété et de respect de l’environnement.   🌱 La rampe Aqua-Eco : une solution qui combine performance et responsabilité écologique. #VINCI #VINCIConstruction #Terrassement #International #RampeAquaEco #Construction

🌱 Last Friday marked the end of Environment Days 2025! This event, held from 22 to 26 September, aimed to raise awareness among our collaborators about the commitments and actions implemented by VINCI, VINCI Construction and VINCI Construction GeoInfrastructure as part of their environmental ambitions.   This year, the event centred on the inspiring theme ‘Everyone has a role to play’! 🌍   The programme at our various sites included: 📍France - Awareness workshop ‘Investigation on the banks of the Seine’ 📍Morangis Technical Centre and headquarters - Awareness workshop with the screening of films by VINCI and the Major Projects division, followed by a fun quiz and a discussion session to rethink our job descriptions by incorporating an environmental component 📍 New Zealand - Screening of key films followed by a presentation of the progress made since the launch of the 2020 environmental plan, then a collaborative workshop featuring the ‘3 pillars’ game, an awareness-raising game about CO2 emissions and the three pillars of our environmental ambition 📍 Senegal - Tree planting at the base camp, clean-up campaign and selective waste collection, field simulation of an environmental accident, quiz and the ‘3 pillars’ game 📍 Colombia - DIY workshop to make 5 products from reused materials from the project Thank you all for your participation and commitment 🍃 #VINCI #VINCIConstruction #EnvironnementDays #EnvironmentalAmbition

🌱 Vendredi dernier se clôturaient les Journées de l'#environnement 2025 ! Cet évènement, organisé du 22 au 26 septembre, avait pour objectif de sensibiliser nos collaborateurs aux engagements et aux actions mises en œuvre par VINCI, VINCI Construction et VINCI Construction GeoInfrastructure dans le cadre de leur ambition environnementale.   Cette année ces journées étaient articulées autour du thème inspirant "Chacun a un rôle à jouer" ! 🌍   Au programme sur nos différents sites : 📍France - Atelier de sensibilisation "Enquête sur les bords de Seine" 📍Centre technique de Morangis et siège - Atelier de sensibilisation avec la diffusion des films de VINCI et de la division de grands projets, accompagnés d'un quiz ludique puis d'un moment d'échange pour repenser nos fiches de poste en intégrant un volet environnemental 📍 Nouvelle-Zélande - Projection des films clés suivie d'une présentation des progrès menés depuis le lancement du plan environnement 2020, puis d'un atelier collaboratif mettant en scène le jeu des "3 piliers", un jeu de sensibilisation aux émissions de CO2 et aux trois piliers de notre ambition environnementale 📍 Sénégal - Plantation d'arbres sur le site de la base vie, campagne de nettoyage et collecte sélective des déchets, simulation sur le terrain d'un accident environnemental, quiz et le jeu des "3 piliers" 📍 Colombie - Atelier DIY pour réaliser 5 produits issus de matériaux réutilisés sur le projet   Merci à tous pour votre participation et votre engagement ! 🍃 #VINCI #VINCIConstruction #EnvironnementDays #AmbitionEnvironnementale
