De acordo com as metas nacionais de energia, o país pretende alcançar 252 MW de capacidade de recuperação energética até 2040 — um sinal claro de que as mudanças já estão em curso.   Em todo o território brasileiro, milhares de lixões a céu aberto e cerca de 800 aterros sanitários liberam grandes quantidades de biogás — rico em metano, um dos gases de efeito estufa mais nocivos que aceleram as mudanças climáticas. 🇦🇹 Welcoming the next generation of energy engineers! 🇫🇷 Last week, Waga Energy had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from the Association of Industrial Energy Engineering (ViET), part of Montanuniversität Leoben in Austria, to our headquarters in Grenoble, France. These future engineers, currently pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Energy Engineering, are exploring innovative companies across Switzerland and France as part of their annual technical excursion. Their visit to Waga Energy was an opportunity to discover how we upgrade landfill gas into grid-compliant biomethane, contributing to the energy transition through technology and sustainability.
