During my last trip to SF, I had the opportunity to speak with Romain Serman who opened Bpifrance’s San Francisco office 11 years ago to help build bridges between US funds and French startups. The French VC firm plans to close €250m total by 2026. I was delighted to participate in two panels at IPEM this year—one on “How AI is rewriting the PE playbooks” alongside Gaël Gibert from Advent and Guillaume Princen from Anthropic, and another on “Investing in the AI revolution” with Lauriane Requena from KKR and Astrid Moullé-Berteaux from Headline.
