    It was a pleasure to gather with European leaders of the government, business and non-profit sectors at #SparkEurope. The theme was "Disruption Meets Action", and speakers got to grips with the challenges and opportunities for Europe in areas like energy, online sovereignty and green skills.    Dr Mario Draghi, former Prime Minister of Italy and former President of the European Central Bank, was the opening speaker. Dr Draghi changed the course of European history in 2012 with just three words - 'whatever it takes' - and he remains one of the Continent's most insightful thinkers.    There is much to be decided for Europe in the coming months and years. But there's no doubt that Europe's world-class financial sector can play a crucial role, along with emerging technologies like AI. The level of expertise at major European financial institutions is second-to-none.   I'm looking forward to the next iteration of Spark in the US in October.

  • And that’s a wrap on #InformaticaWorld. What an incredible event it has been! From start to finish, the event offered the perfect blend of innovation, inspiration, and interaction. On that note, the Capgemini Lounge became the place where ideas flowed as freely as the coffee — a hub of insightful conversations on a variety of topics, real-world use cases, and reconnecting with familiar faces. But the highlight for us was our session on Data Governance, where Katie Tougas, AVP of Data Governance and Privacy at The Hartford, and Mahesh Krishnan, Head of Data Governance at Capgemini, Insights & Data, displayed how The Hartford Insurance rebooted its Data Governance practice by: ➡️ Driving adoption across the organization. ➡️ Ensuring high-quality data as a foundation. ➡️ Implementing a federated governance operating model for scalability and flexibility. Furthermore, the session demonstrated how our Active Data Governance (ADG) and Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) stack serve as the backbone for unified and augmented data governance.
