Yesterday we welcomed our friends from the World Economic Forum and public sector leaders from around the world to our New York City office, for a deep dive on #AgenticAI. How we see it: 👉 Through their ability to perceive, reason, and act autonomously to achieve defined outcomes, AI agents fundamentally expand what government can accomplish. 👉 Agentic AI can facilitate superior experiences for citizens and employees, and public sector efficiency, contributing to the $9.8 trillion potential for public impact in the coming decade that we identified in our recent research. 👉 However, careful analysis is needed to identify fields of application that bring the most value. Success depends on many factors, especially the quality and availability of data, ethical frameworks to maintain public trust, and a transformation in leadership and skills. 🫵 Where to start? Identifying the use cases with highest potential, and focus on data management and governance to lay the groundwork for automation. To progress #AgenticAI from discussion to action, we are proud to be collaborating with the WEF on an analysis of core government tasks, to pinpoint where AI agents can deliver the greatest impact. Stay tuned for the findings of research. Dr. Hinrich Thölken | Marc Reinhardt Philipp Fuerst, PhD | Debarati Ganguly #GovTech #PublicSector #Government
