CGIAR Digital Transformation a republié ceci
"Black Mirror and the Future of Food” Last month we ran something that felt a bit like a Black Mirror episode for agriculture, exploring what food, land, and water systems might look like by 2040 in a world shaped by digital technologies. Researchers, designers, and colleagues from across CGIAR came together to build scenarios about digital futures for the Global South. Unlike many foresight exercises that focus on how technologies themselves evolve, this one applied a human-centered lens, anchoring digital technologies in the lived realities of farmers, policymakers, communities, extension agents, and researchers in Latin America and beyond. Through design thinking and speculative futures, participants explored questions that matter: Who benefits? Who is left out? How do we navigate both the risks and the opportunities ahead? Ultimately, this workshop was more than an exercise in imagination. It was a step toward strategic action, helping CGIAR and its partners co-create and refine scenarios that will guide our work over the next few years.
