‘Vampire, Vampire, Vampire!’ – Australia’s StrikeMaster missile launch system has successfully fired an anti-ship missile test munition in Norway. The sight and sound of Kongsberg’s Naval Strike missile launching from Thales Australia’s Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle (PMV) platform is impressive enough in person (watch the video), but its impact will reverberate across the world. This successful live-fire proves the combination of the NSM and Bushmaster can provide a potent land based maritime-strike capability, and it will be made in Australia supporting the sovereign industrial base while providing deterrence, capability and protection for Australia and its allies. The Bushmaster now has fangs. Kongsberg Defence Australia

#REPMUS2025 | 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐚. Out at sea, on board the La Fayette-class frigate Courbet, our Thales teams and our partners from SEAir joined the crew of the Marine Nationale to take part in the REPMUS exercise under operational conditions. In this floating operations hub, our systems faced demanding real-life scenarios: respond rapidly, make the right decisions, and maintain the tactical advantage. It is through exercises like these that we demonstrate how our technologies perform, and we build lasting trust with the armed forces. Many thanks to the Marine nationale, as well as DGA - Direction générale de l'armement, Royal Navy, Navy Command of the German Navy | Marinekommando Deutsche Marine, and NATO for their collaboration during these crucial trials. #WeAreNATO #InnovationNATO #MaritimeUnmannedSystems
