📄 We are excited to share our latest open-access paper: “A hybrid neuromarketing approach exploiting EEG graph signal processing and gaze dynamic patterning” 🧑 Fotis Kalaganis, Kostas Georgiadis, Vangelis Oikonomou Nikos Laskaris, Spiros Nikolopoulos and Yiannis Kompatsiaris 🏫 Multimedia Knowledge and Social Media Analytics Laboratory - MKLab, Information Technologies Institute (ITI), Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) 🧠 What we did We developed a hybrid decoding framework that fuses EEG connectivity features (via Graph Signal Processing) with rich eye-tracking metrics to distinguish “Buy” vs “NoBuy” consumer decisions. The MuseIT Project (Horizon Europe) concluded with its final event in Sweden - a celebration of how technology, creativity, and co-design can transform cultural participation! At the Textile Fashion Centre in Borås, the BHV team presented the MuseIT Virtual Museum - a fully immersive digital exhibition with 2D/3D artefacts, haptic feedback, layered audio design (music, narration, and sound effects), and affective-computing technologies powered by non-invasive EEG, heart rate, and skin conductance sensors. At the Röhsska Museum in Göteborg, a hybrid live music performance connected on-site and remote musicians through low-latency audio technology and real-time emotion recognition from biosignals. This unique setup allowed performers to perceive each other’s expressive states and adapt their performance in real time - showcasing a new form of emotion-aware co-creation at a distance. BHV contributed its expertise in biosignal processing, AI, and virtual reality technologies, helping shape cultural experiences that are inclusive, multisensory, and emotionally meaningful. Day 2 of the PREDICTOM Annual Consortium Meeting brought valuable exchange and alignment across partners. Key discussions focused on: -      Streamlining processes along the patient journey -      Building consensus on the analytics database -      Presenting our approach to identify high-risk and low-risk dementia populations -      Exploring our publication strategy, with ambitious plans to report and disseminate project outputs effectively and on time A highlight was the input from our Scientific Advisory Board, guiding discussions on sustainability and strategies for the wide adoption of the results. A hands-on workshop took place, where clinical partners received training on the Hearing test, the Eye Tracking, and the EEG test - which promise to yield important dementia-related markers. Day 1 of the PREDICTOM Consortium Annual Meeting set the stage for exciting collaboration and progress! We kicked off with engaging discussions through the triple+ IHI initiative, with participation from PROMINENT and AD-RIDDLE projects. Together, we explored ways to leverage common ground, join forces, and save cost, energy, and time. In interactive breakout sessions, partners responsible for biomarkers, algorithms and models, the platform, the ongoing study, public involvement, guidelines and dissemination worked in smaller groups to: ●     Present overall progress ●     Highlight challenges around data collection and analysis ●     Define next-step priorities From these discussions, we identified key topics for our in depth discussions on Day 2: Mapping the participant journey Deriving and presenting multimodal results Data sharing Looking beyond PREDICTOM As recruitment in the context of the PREDICTOM study progresses and data collection advances, we are excited to move towards analysis and sharing results, with the ambition to shape and contribute meaningfully to the discussion on early dementia detection.
