We're thrilled that Chuck Anderson NOPATTERN STUDIO is coming to Artevault to license and preserve his works 🎉 Chuck is a Chicago-based creative director, designer, and artist who founded NoPattern Studio in 2004 at the age of 18. He quickly gained notoriety and interest for both his work and accumulating a rapidly growing list of clients at an unusually young age. Renowned for his vivid use of color, surreal layering, and experimental image-making, he has collaborated with leading brands such as Nike Apple ESPN Target Vans The Topps Company among many others. In 2009, after designing the Windows 7 desktop in partnership with Landor & Microsoft, he was named a Design Icon by Computer Arts Magazine. His most recent explorations within his fine art practice have led to 3 self-published art books and large bodies of work (Crash Report [2019], Infinite Pressure [2021], and Imagined Wreckage [2024), highlighting his studies in #3D, vector, and #AI. Passionate about mentoring and education, Chuck also often speaks at design conferences and schools around the world, championing creativity and helping young creatives feel inspired to pursue their visions. Look who's coming to Artevault 👀 BLINK Gallery's TK Chan is a mixed medium artist from Hong Kong who has developed a unique and diverse body of work by blending different artistic traditions and approaches: Western and Chinese. Chan's practice primarily involves contemporary Chinese ink-wash painting on Xuan paper, taking a minimalist approach to execution. In a world filled with negativity and a constant barrage of conflict and stress, Chan's creations are a counterpoint exuding serenity and joy. Chan's artwork represents the intersection of different cultures and mediums, showcasing the beauty of both traditional Chinese ink painting and Western oil painting. Through her commitment to exploring new techniques and pushing the boundaries of her own practice, she has developed a distinct style that sets her apart as an artist. Her works have been acquired by a number of institutions including Po Leung Kuk, Kingston Financial Group, Super Star Group, and has recently been commissioned to create a series of works for the 食好點 restaurant group in Shanghai. Her works have also been sold at auctions by Poly Auction and by 33 Auction, Singapore. Academically accomplished, Chan holds a MA in Curating and Art History from Lingnan University, a MDes Interdisciplinary Design, and a BDes Design Futures both from Edinburgh Napier University TK Chan is the co-founder and curator of BLINK Gallery Hong Kong, a member of the Society Of Scottish Artists, The Hong Kong St Andrew's Society, and the Hong Kong Society for Education in Art. We are excited to have entered into collaboration with legendary Hong Kong artist, Wing Shya, to begin preservation of select works from his collection, and to provide a blockchain backed platform from which these assets can be showcased and licensed. Wing Shya’s works have spanned fashion, film and art. He started his career as a graphic designer after studying at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Canada. Upon his return to Hong Kong, Shya set up Shya-la-la Workshop. Shya regularly contributes to numerous international fashion and art magazines including i-D (UK), Tank Magazine/Tank Form Ltd and VISIONAIRE, among many other prestigious and influential publications. Shya has also been the exclusive photographer and graphic designer for Wong Kar Wai’s films including Happy Together, In The Mood for Love, Eros and 2046. Also a recognised director, he has directed several music videos, TV commercials, as well as the film Hot Summer Days. In 2006, Shya was the first non-Japanese photographer invited by Mori Art Museum, Tokyo to have his solo exhibition “Distraction/Attraction”. With his inclusion on the Artevault platform his work will be available for the public to access, and brands and corporates to license for a myriad of use cases.
