Celebrating a beautiful evening of art, inspiration, and Women in Lighting 🖤 On Tuesday evening we were proud to host a Women in Lighting event celebrating the truly immersive light art installation “Double Fizz” by Liz West. Set within Number 1 St Michael’s, Manchester, Double Fizz offered a vibrant yet calming experience – a mesmerising tunnel of colour that invites reflection and emotion. The installation is the culmination of more than five years of artistic dedication and creativity from the exceptionally talent Liz, and stands as a bold artistic statement guiding visitors through 30 metres of radiant colour and feeling. After a warm welcome from Sharon Maghnagi, Liz and Ruth Davies shared the story behind Double Fizz before guests continued the evening at Tumi & Tokyo within Chotto Matte, with aperitivo’s and Japanese Peruvian fusion dishes. A highlight of the evening was a thoughtful Q&A with Liz, beautifully led by Karen Francis MSLL, MA, BA(Hons) of Hoare Lea, exploring women in art and the inspirations driving future generations.
