Amouage opens ephemeral pop-up spaces in Hong Kong The House of AMOUAGE proudly unveils its latest ephemeral space: a captivating sensorial experience and a first for Hong Kong, situated within the prestigious K11 MUSEA retail destination. This immersive space is more than a boutique; it is a poetic homage to the soul of Oman. Every architectural detail echoes the spirit of our homeland, evoking the timeless beauty and cultural depth of the region. The façade, sculpted in soft sandstone tones, calls to mind the rose terraces of Jabal Akhdar, where centuries-old traditions of fragrance and flora meet. Inside, a copper disc anchors the space, a visual metaphor for the glow of the Omani sunset as it descends over the desert dunes. Subtle yet striking, the design draws from the language of Arabic architecture, where geometry and shadow play a defining role. Dark, angular forms rise organically from the floor, evoking silhouettes of ancient relics emerging from sand, and hinting at the mystery and majesty of Oman’s past. This ephemeral space is not merely a retail space, it is a portal into the world of Amouage: a world where heritage, artistry, and olfactory mastery converge. Located at Victoria Dockside, K11 Art and Cultural District of Tsim Sha Tsui, K11 MUSEA is Hong Kong’s pioneering cultural-retail landmark. Inspired by ‘A Muse by the Sea’, K11 MUSEA is designed to enrich the new consumer’s daily life through the power of creativity, culture and innovation. Now, I've reviewed many pop-ups and stores from AMOUAGE - and one thing they have in common, they leave nobody indifferent. They are bold, creative, fun, vibrant, immersive. AMOUAGE arrives in Nanjing, China, with a new boutique: "Ombre Est Lumière". ( ~ "Shadow is Light") Over the past years and my trips to China, it has been quite obvious that the country's luxury landscape is evolving, moving beyond ostentation and toward authenticity, meaning, and mystery. This is the vision behind our new ephemeral boutique in Nanjing, set within the historic Yunzhuang Guild Hall, a space steeped in 125 years of tradition. Once a gathering place for the Yun brocade weaving industry, its intricate wood carvings, brickwork, and courtyards whisper stories of craftsmanship and legacy: values that align with Amouage’s philosophy of perfumery as an art form. Here, in a dimly lit, intimate setting, fragrance is revealed like a secret, unfolding slowly in shadow and light, inviting visitors to discover scent as a deeply personal and cultural experience. The House of Amouage Takes Flight with Its First Ephemeral Space at Istanbul Airport in collaboration with Unifree Duty Free The House of AMOUAGE unveils its inaugural ephemeral space in #Turkey, at Istanbul International Airport with Unifree Duty Free — a tribute to the art of High Perfumery. Marking the House’s first installation at this vibrant travel retail hub, the opening celebrates an exceptional milestone: a remarkable +51% growth in the Travel Retail channel during Q1 2025, affirming it as one of Amouage’s most dynamic channels.    The podium, spanning 15 square metres, is an ode to the world of the Exceptional Extraits, showcasing the latest extrait creations: Guidance 46 and Purpose 50, created by Quentin Bisch. (Givaudan) A poetic interplay of deep emerald greens and soft pink-red hues evokes the richness of the high-concentration compositions. Sand-toned travertine anchors the design, a nod to the House’s Omani heritage. Distinct spaces offer a curated journey through the House’s signature collections: the Guidance and Purpose lines, Amouage Essences, the Exceptional Extraits, and the Iconics. This ephemeral Amouage destination is located at the Unifree Duty Free store on the left side after passport control in Departures at Istanbul International Airport, welcoming travelers until the end of June.
