HKEX is pleased to be launching the HKEX Issuer Access Platform. This centralised, secure and web-based communication channel is designed to enhance the interaction between listed issuers and HKEX, supporting the ongoing modernisation of Hong Kong’s markets infrastructure. Today, the HKMA and the Treasury Markets Association (TMA) co-organised the Treasury Markets Summit 2025 in Hong Kong. The event was attended by more than 300 participants from banks, financial institutions, and asset management firms. In his keynote speech, Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of the HKMA and Honorary President of the TMA Council, discussed the opportunities that lie ahead for the further development of renminbi business in the city. Darryl Chan, Deputy Chief Executive of the HKMA and Chair of the TMA Executive Board, also offered a look back at the evolution of Hong Kong’s treasury markets and TMA’s key achievements over the past two decades.  The Summit’s panels covered three important topics, including the latest financial world order, Hong Kong as a hub of corporate treasury centres, and the changes brought by artificial intelligence to treasury markets. Attending HKMA executives and other distinguished guest speakers discussed both opportunities and challenges facing the industry, emphasising the importance of adaptability and forward-thinking solutions.   Looking ahead, collaboration and innovation are key to shaping the future of Hong Kong’s treasury markets.
