Ancora: Sustainability as a Vision Compass
One of the commitments we have made in the past couple of years is to integrate sustainability into our culture. We have kicked off our sustainability journey, and although we are taking baby steps and have a lot of homework to do, we are excited in overcoming the challenges and delivering real improvements. Our journey is reflected in our 4 sustainability pillars:
🌱 Sustaining Growth
Our robust financial performance is intrinsically tied to the strength of our relationships with clients and partners. Throughout 2024, we sustained our commitment to providing top-tier products and services to our customers, while simultaneously fostering strong collaboration and support to the local Indonesian suppliers. We are dedicated to sustaining our commitment and efforts to achieve more responsible and excellent operations going forward. Furthermore, we will proactively explore new opportunities to strengthen our portfolio against the evolving market dynamics and risk of the coming year.
🌍 Preserving the Planet
We maintain our commitment to the responsible management and utilization of energy, emissions, and water throughout our operations. In 2024, we progressed our plan to install solar panels at a subsidiary manufacturing site and pledged to incorporate biofuel. Additionally, our reverse osmosis initiative has commenced, which will enhance our water recycling rates and allow us to repurpose water previously deemed unusable.
👥 Nurturing Our People
Our people are our top priority. We never compromise on safety and are dedicated to fostering a conducive environment where they can achieve their full potential. We have increased training hours per employee and are committed to continuously providing relevant and needs-based training.
🏘️ Prospering with the Communities
We are dedicated to contributing to the growth and development of the communities surrounding our operations. Throughout 2024, we scaled up our community training initiatives and increased our support, with the goal of improving their quality of life and enabling them to achieve independent well-being.

We take our reporting disclosure seriously as we also marked two important reporting milestones in our 2024 Sustainability Report — our first disclosure using SASB Chemical metrics, and an enhanced GRI alignment to the “in accordance” level.
