A&L Goodbody hosted a workshop on the Renewable Energy Price Guarantee (REPG) in Northern Ireland this week, bringing together stakeholders from across the energy sector to discuss what this new support mechanism means for the local market. The session, led by ALG Partners John Palmer and Mark Stockdale alongside Lisa Foley of Cornwall Insight, explored the structure of the final design of the REPG and its potential to drive renewable investment in Northern Ireland. ESG due diligence – are businesses asking the right (or any) questions? We have published the fourth and final part in ALG’s ESG research report series, with Stephen Quinlivan taking focus on due diligence in the context of corporate and M&A transactions. The ALG ESG research report revealed that 69% of respondents indicated that they have a due diligence policy in place.
