We were thrilled to collect the Gold Award at the National Irish Safety Organisation All Ireland Occupational Health Awards last Friday at the Gala Awards Ceremony in Killarney. The awards cover all industries on the island of Ireland with our gold award ranking us second out of the 125 companies who were commended on the night.   This award is great recognition for our Safety Team, our Management Teams and our Supply Chain Partners who put safety first every day and deliver on our WorkSafe HomeSafe vision. "Back to Basics" is the theme for the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) 2025 Safety Campaign. It is something that aligns clearly with our own 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 vision. We know that in construction, things can change in the blink of an eye, so getting the basics right is essential in ensuring that everyone buys into our safety culture. Tremendous to be part of the Construction Industry Federation Summits Annual Conference 2025. Managing Director Liam Kenny took part in an enlightening panel discussion with industry peers. Host Ivan Yates pushed the panellists to expand on their experience of the public procurement process, the challenges in moving from ambition to execution, and the capability of the industry to meet the challenges facing the State. As part of #GenerationApprenticeship we are proud to welcome our new Civil Engineering Apprenticeships.   Created by The Civil Engineering Consortium, this initiative is a route to professional accreditation as a Civil Engineer and will be encompassed into our own 'Earn & Learn' programme.   As our own Civil Engineering Director Henry Scanlon noted, 'The National Development Plan has offered our industry a tremendous opportunity to build Ireland's future, the opportunity to develop future talent as part of this programme is a privilege we will readily embrace.'
