Neville Champ, General Manager at Altherm ICF, recently sat down with the Skillnet MMC Accelerate team to share his story of how moving into MMC not only gave him technical expertise in Insulated Concrete Formwork and helped to build leadership skills, but most importantly how this move improved his work-life balance. Neville had spent more than a decade working for Mitsubishi Power Europe, but travel demands started to take their toll and he wanted to spend more time at home with family and move into a career with longevity. A role in MMC at Altherm ICF offered him that chance. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, Neville stayed focused on his career goals and achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in TU Dublin in Building Performance. This has helped him to lead on high-quality ICF developments across Ireland without impacting his home life. Working in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) offers huge benefits to building professionals, with many options for developing new skills. Get in touch today to learn how Ireland's online #MMCInitiative https://lnkd.in/eTnsQVDJ can support you or your business in #MMC upskilling and share your company's journey in #ModernMethodsofConstruction.
