𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 – 𝗜𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 🌞🚧 It’s been a busy and productive month on the Irishtown Solar Farm project located in Co. Dublin. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve achieved so far during the month of October: ✔️ Completed HDD under the Ward River ✔️Installed 4 MV precast foundations along with their MV units ✔️ Achieved 100% installation of inverter units ✔️ Achieved 60% LV Trenching and Cable Install ✔️ Achieved 75% DC Cable Install Once operational, the Irishtown site is expected to power up to 10,000 homes and displace approximately 20,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 - 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🌱 We’re proud to share that Cushaling Wind Farm has been successfully energised. This is a huge step forward in bringing clean, renewable energy to the grid, and a moment of celebration for everyone involved The project comprises three key components: ✅ The Wind Farm Substation, featuring both the EirGrid and Independent Power. Producer (IPP) sections. ✅ A 33kV Cable Route connecting the Substation to the Wind Farm Interface Point. ✅ The Wind Farm Site, the powerhouse of this green energy initiative. This project highlights Suir Engineering’s commitment to innovative thinking, problem-solving, and establishing first of kind solutions that set new standards in the industry. Congratulations to the team at Suir Engineering on their role in bringing Yellow River Wind Farm in Offaly to completion⚡ This 101MW, 29-turbine project will power nearly 75,000 homes and cut around 70,000 tonnes of carbon emissions each year.
