The CFO 100 Breakfast Event 2025, held in association with Sia, featured an inspiring address from Senator Dee Ryan, highlighting the importance of financial leadership, innovation, and education in shaping Ireland’s economic future. Speaking to an audience of Ireland and the UK’s top CFOs and finance leaders, Senator Ryan reflected on the pivotal role of collaboration between business, government, and education in building a resilient and forward-thinking economy. “The EU AI Act gives us a framework, but our ambition as a country must give us momentum. We have to invest in skills, we have to support our indigenous businesses, and we have to strike a balance. If we do, Ireland can not only be a hub for AI but a beacon showing how a small nation can shape big technologies for common good.” Her remarks helped set the tone for a morning of discussion on the evolving role of the CFO, the rise of AI-driven finance, and the transformative potential of technology and strategy in business leadership. Réitigh, a Dublin-based fintech, has rebranded as Resolve with an eye on increased international expansion.
