    I studied economics and sociology so i investigated and learnt a lot about the Irish economy and how economics works i also studied society and the different classes of people that make up society today. This coarse allowed me to view many different economy's across the world and the different economic tools and frameworks people use. I also learnt a lot about society and the role we play in it , and how the functions of people define the worlds economy's today. This coarse allowed me to learn many detailed research methods and also allowed me access to many researching tools and databases, overall this coarse has benefited me in numerous ways, socially and economically , which i will bring forward and use throughout my career.

    The main purpose of this paper is to show the power of the media in the Lance Armstrong doping scandals that shocked the world in mid 2000s. I will show how the media played a huge role in the degrading of Lance’s character. Theses scandals were worldwide and I aim to show how the media worked to influence the public on their views of Armstrong in this period. I will show writings from certain people that see the media supporting Armstrong and his glorious career before the scandals. But I also…

    The main purpose of this paper is to show the power of the media in the Lance Armstrong doping scandals that shocked the world in mid 2000s. Theses scandals were worldwide and I aim to show how the media worked to influence the public on their views of Armstrong in this period. But I also will show you articles and writings that these same people and their newspapers wrote about Lance but this time it was after the doping crisis and immediately we see these writers’ opinions to turn negative and language used towards Armstrong become very aggressive. This project focuses on the power of the media in the Lance Armstrong scandal and how quickly they can change their opinions and the public’s opinion, but also ill show how the media can socially construct someone.
