At Huawei’s AI & Low Carbon Data Centre Summit yesterday, Colin Quinn represented Ethos on a panel of industry leaders exploring how AI, innovation, and sustainability are reshaping the sector.   Colin shared insights on the opportunities and challenges driving growth in Ireland and across Europe, from grid capacity and fibre connectivity to how modular battery storage could help stabilise renewable energy and strengthen the grid. He also spoke about the untapped potential of data centres to provide low-carbon heat to local communities.   With demand for digital infrastructure rising, Colin addressed the Irish engineering skills shortage and the need to attract and train more engineers in this exciting, fast-moving sector. Northern Ireland’s leading Full Fibre broadband provider today released its audited accounts for the year ending March 2025, with results showing a surging consumer demand for better broadband deals and reliable connection.
