🎯 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 : 𝐀 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 🚂💡 My hackathon journey began with a 5+ hour train ride from Nashik to Solapur—standing in the general compartment! It wasn’t the most comfortable start, but every minute of that journey (and the hackathon itself) taught me something new. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 (𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐓𝐨𝐨!) 🔹 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: We were told to push to GitHub every 1.5 hours—thanks to a rule by Roni Bhakta! This taught us the importance of consistency and version control. 🔹𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬: AI is great for debugging, but it can’t replace the value of building from scratch. Knowing the basics is what truly helps you innovate. 🔹𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐈: Many teams use AI to build full-stack projects quickly, but this often means missing out on real learning. Anyone can write prompts—mastering fundamentals is what sets you apart. 🔹 𝐆𝐢𝐭𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲: I learned how to create a solid README.md, write clear commit messages, and manage files on GitHub. These skills are essential for any developer. 🔹 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: I felt proud to pitch our idea clearly and convince the judges. The only feedback? Slow down a bit so everyone can follow along! 🔹 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 & 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡: Our team’s weakness was limited experience with frameworks. But we’re already working to improve our technical skills for next time. 🔹 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬: The first round was different—we had to write our ideas on paper before coding. This made us think differently and stand out. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 & 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 A huge shoutout to Samarth Hatte for coordinating with us, Ketan Bhogshetti(founder of Code Club) for his endless support, Roni Bhakta and all the teachers and HODs for their guidance. The management and team made everything possible—there was not a single moment where I felt let down. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭? This experience was more than just a hackathon—it was a lesson in resilience, teamwork, and continuous learning. Attended AGTechathon 1.0 at AGPIT SOLAPUR with my team – Sidramappa Potdar , Priya Nagur , Chaitali Mhetras and Pranitee Sonavane.
