On a field visit to the General Post Office, Benguluru for a review of #SpecialCampaign5 I was delighted to interact with Shri K.Prakash Chief Post Master General Karnataka, with whom I have had the privilege to interact from 2021 on the transformative impact of Special Campaigns over the past 5 years, today we discussed the benefits for citizen centric governance emanating from the “Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology”, the Dak Sewa app, the Digi Pin and the process re-engineering for simplifying a citizen’s journey in post offices. 📍 New Delhi, India | 19 - 21 August Last week, experts from the UPU held a workshop on the UPU Interconnection Platform (UPU-IP) extension in New Delhi, India. 💡 It focused on capacity building and technical integration for cross-border postal payment networks through the Post. It aimed to promote a better understanding of the Platform, prior to its launch at the 28th #UPUCongress this September in #Dubai.
