Global Knowledge Week 2025, under the umbrella of Knowledge Management Global Network, is in full flow this week around the world! It is a week of celebration of knowledge in more than 25 countries with dozens of events being conducted daily in virtual, hybrid or in-person formats. India hosted a well-attended event today on ‘Enterprise Knowledge and AI’ with a rich mix of speakers from AI startups, industry, consulting and research. The meet was anchored by Madanmohan Rao who briefed the audience on the vibrant KM ecosystem in Bangalore. Shreyas Aradhya (HackCulture), Sudeshna Mukhopadhyay (Intelekt AI) and Rahul G. (evvolv.ai) provided a glimpse of how AI is facilitating knowledge and innovation processes while making a big impact. We then had a very insightful talk on Knowledge Mindfulness by Dr. Laila Marouf who has authored a book on the same topic. This was followed by myself providing an update on the Global Knowledge Week, in my capacity as the incoming Chair of Knowledge Management Global Network for 2026. Ashok Kumar presented a digital transformation and KM case study of KALPATARU PROJECTS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, which operates in the high growth construction sector- it was apparent how well deserved their induction into the Global MIKE Awards 2025 is! Sarika Waje showcased how Capgemini Invent has embraced AI to make KM lot more effective for the end-user community. The session wrapped up with Animesh Rai of Ripples Learning enlightening us with with different endeavors in upping the learning and skilling quotient in the AI world.
