Are you taking the bigger risk by staying? Are you staying in a job or working with a client that is slowly draining your energy? Do you keep telling yourself daily, “It’s not that bad”, just to stay put? I hear you. A few years ago, I was working with a client who was wreaking havoc on my mental peace. Constantly changing briefs, delaying payments, and making untimely and unreasonable demands were a normal phenomenon working with them, too much for me to handle at times. Instead of taking a bold stance, I kept telling myself - - “I need the money”. - “This is ‘just a part of freelancing’.” - “Things will change if I keep delivering good work”. But all these self-talks were not helping me give my best. Over time, I realized I was showing up to work with a lot of anxiety and nervousness. Finally, I decided to end the contract. It was scary as I had no backup plan. But taking that call was very crucial at that phase of my life. I found new clients in due course who respected deadlines, feedback, and boundaries. And I learnt something powerful - 'Leaving something unhealthy makes space for something better.' If you are feeling stuck in a toxic setup, start planning your exit. Because no client, job, or paycheck is worth losing your peace. #worldmentalhealthday #mentalhealth #mentalwellbeing

We Don’t Just Preserve Culture—We Activate It. At the MCES Official Cultural Economic Summit, I had the privilege of speaking about a future where India’s civilizational wisdom doesn’t just coexist with technology—it guides it. The conversation, led by Shri Gopal Krishna Agarwal Ji and Mitra Parn Ji, centered on a powerful idea: monetising India's cultural dividend. We discussed a National Cultural Databank. This isn’t just an archive; it’s a strategic national asset. By measuring our cultural wealth—from folk art and oral histories to traditional ecological knowledge—we can protect, study, and scale it responsibly. But how do we make this tangible? We discussed the next layer: Cultural Tokens. Imagine a future where every artisan, dancer, or heritage site can be represented by a digital token—verifiable, traceable, and tradeable. This isn’t about crypto-speculation; it’s about creating a new economic layer for culture, enabling micro-patronage, transparent royalties, and global access while retaining sovereign ownership. This is the true convergence: Culture as Code. Where #AI learns from our databanks, #blockchain protects our provenance, and our values shape the market. Thank you, MCES, for leading this essential shift. The future of economics isn’t just digital—it’s deeply cultural. #CulturalEconomy #FutureOfIndia #Web3 #AI #Futurist #ResponsibleAI #EthicalAI Raj Kapoor Harmeet Singh Hemant Shrivastava Abhijit Chaturvedi ⚡️Kavitha Kanaparthi (kavithakanaparthi.x) Ajay Hari

"You can't govern what you can't measure! To formalize our cultural economy, we urgently need a National Cultural Databank. This digital repository must feed a live Cultural Index—the true map of India's civilizational assets, ensuring they are preserved, studied, and strategically monetized." – Participant at the dialogue on Cultural Economic Governance. #MCES

Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards. - Soren Kierkegaard We always say, ‘learn from the mistakes you made in the past, ’ and truly so! Wisdom and life lessons help us make sound decisions for the future. Here is a resourceful strategy to understand life - -- Retrospect (past experiences, events, and situations), and -- Reflect on them It is like learning to ride a skateboard - falling, rising again, and again, and then finally taking a leap of faith to ride effortlessly and move forward. Do not keep harping on bygones. Let your future be liberated from past regrets and remorses. Clinging to the past ruins your chances of exploring the opportunities the future holds for you. Quotes of Steve Jobs from a speech need a special mention here. He said - “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So, you must trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You must trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” His words send a clear message - stay focused and think forward for a better future. So, trust the process and go with the flow! #lifelessons #positivethinking #learningfrommistakes #mondaymotivation

I am holding a powerful gift today, not just from a friend, but from a true thought leader. Huge congratulations to Harleen Kaur Chadhaa on the publication of her incredible book, 'The Coach Within', a treatise on Recognising Yourself as Your Own Greatest Guide. This isn't merely a book; it's a culmination of profound insight, dedicated research, and the courageous journey of becoming a published author. To see an idea transform into a tangible work that is already receiving such well-deserved appreciation is a testament to your discipline and vision, Harleen. Your accomplishment is truly commendable. What resonates most deeply with me, and why this book is so vital for our professional community, is its core premise. In a world quick to seek external validation and solutions, The Coach Within empowers us to turn inward. It argues that the most potent leadership, clarity, and resilience we will ever access comes from self-recognition and self-trust. This is a critical message for leaders at all levels. Harleen has expertly crafted a guide that moves beyond theory, providing the practical tools to quiet the noise and harness the innate wisdom we all possess. It’s about sustainable growth from the inside out. This is more than a personal milestone for Harleen; it's a contribution to the collective conversation on authentic leadership and personal mastery. I am already inspired by its pages and highly recommend it to my network—especially to those invested in nurturing talent, leading with purpose, and embarking on their own journey of intentional growth. Harleen, your voice is a valuable addition to the shelf of every modern professional. I am so proud to celebrate you and this magnificent achievement! #TheCoachWithin #LeadershipDevelopment #PersonalGrowth #PublishedAuthor #BookLaunch #Coaching #SelfAwareness #Leadership #ProfessionalDevelopment #InvestInYourself #wellness #mindfulness

‘Team player’ - A competence we all write on our CVs. But do we really live by it? Do we all know what it means to coordinate, collaborate, and work collectively in a team? Two years ago, I was working on a group assignment with four other content creators. What appeared to be a ‘group work’ didn’t feel like a team. Everyone did their part, shared updates, and left it at that. No interactions or idea sharing, no communication whatsoever regarding challenges, work strategies, or problem-solving. The turning point came when one of us admitted, “I’m stuck and I need help.” That little moment of honesty changed everything. Instead of just dividing tasks, we started sharing ideas, communicating challenges, and contemplating solutions. Rather than working in silos, we started improving each other’s drafts and backing one another up. Result? The project turned out way better than it would have if we all had just ‘done our parts’. One big realization from this for me: >> Teamwork is not about sitting next to each other or splitting tasks. It is about being open, vulnerable, and willing to let your ideas be challenged. True collaboration happens when the ego drops, trust builds, and everyone has each other's backs. In a competitive office environment, it is a thin line that demarcates ‘group work’ from ‘team work’, and distinguishes ‘sharing information’ from ‘sharing ideas’. Do you appreciate the difference between ‘working in a group’ and ‘working in a team’? How do you ensure to honor your ‘team player’ badge in your work setup?   #teamwork #teamplayer #collaboration #workculture

Today’s hard reality - AI tools are becoming smarter than humans. AI tools are learning faster while we humans are still scrolling endlessly on our phones. AI tools are constantly learning, adapting, and improving. Meanwhile, many of us are still stuck in old habits, distractions, and comfort zones. AI tools can - – Write content in seconds. – Create designs, images, and videos like a flash. – Analyze complex data sets effortlessly. – Predict patterns we cannot foresee. True, AI still cannot replace human curiosity, creativity, or critical thinking (thankfully, that’s still our superpower). But if we continue being hooked to digital distractions, we are giving a freeway to AI to outsmart us. It is high time we use the same energy we spend on doom-scrolling to actually learning alongside AI. To upskill, experiment, and create. People across the globe are picking up AI tools and using them every day for personal and professional aids. But there’s still a long way to go before we can truly bridge the gap. Let us use AI as a partner, rather than dreading it as a competitor. Because in the end, it’s not about humans vs. machines. It’s about humans with machines. Thoughts? #learning #upskilling #AI #artificialintelligence #technology #futureofwork Pic Credit: FB

'Truth does not mind being questioned; A lie does not like being challenged.'   Truth stands the test of the times, always ready to face the last question of the doubters. When we speak the truth, we lose the fear of getting caught. The authenticity stays with us forever, with no stipulations attached. It never lets us go weak.   A lie, on the other hand, likes to thrive in a dark solitude puddle, desisting the eyeballs. It looks for escape doors when confronted with brutal questioning of the challengers. It binds us in constant fear and weakens us from deep inside. Truth >> Lie Authenticity >> Pretense ALWAYS. #poweroftruth #truthfullife #authenticity #lifelessons #WordsbyAmrit

In a village drowned by the worst #floods in nearly four decades, an elderly #Sikh—his house, fields, and belongings washed away—still served tea to rescue volunteers. That simple act of Sarbat Da Bhala was not charity, it was civilization distilled. This is #Punjab: the land of the Gurus, where humanity rises higher than water levels, and seva becomes the frontline of resilience. And yet, while dignity shone, governance drowned. More than 1,000 villages submerged, over 61,000 hectares of farmland ruined, and 1.4 million residents displaced—while embankments lay unrepaired, silted canals (Indira Gandhi Canal, Sirhind Feeder) were kept closed, and headworks faltered. The administration played politics, the Centre and State traded blame, and prevention became negligence. These floods were not an inevitability—they were an abdication. #GovernanceFailure #PunjabFloods2025 Still, Punjab refuses victimhood. Gurdwaras turned into relief camps, langar kitchens ran without pause, and citizens rushed where institutions stalled. The Sikh ethos of Sarbat Da Bhala transformed calamity into collective strength. The future now demands we marry this spirit with systems—digital twins of rivers, transparent dam protocols, parametric insurance, citizen-first alerts—so that resilience is not left to faith alone. Punjab has shown us: the water may rise, but the human spirit can rise higher. #SarbatDaBhala #ClimateResilience #EdgeOfPossible Swaiman Singh Raj Kapoor Harmeet Singh Harleen Kaur Chadhaa Amanpreet Singh Bajaj Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Singh Manna Inder Preet Singh Ajay Hari Jaspal Singh Ashish Gambhir Palak Kaur Bhatia Karan Bir Singh Sidhu Anu Sehgal Lt Gen Kamal Jit Singh Lt Gen Iqbal Singh Singha Rajesh Bhardwaj Hemant Shrivastava Aashi Goel Harkirat Kaur Kukreja Parul S.

Do you have any idea how much weight people carry to work? No, not the physical weight of their bags or laptops. Rather, the mental and emotional baggage within them. -- The burden of fulfilling the dreams of their loved ones. -- The pressure of building the future of their children. -- The stress of attending to their ailing parents. And the weight of so many other worries that no one sees on the surface. Office politics, work pressure, and tough bosses add more to their pile. In such situations, one small act of kindness can change the tone of an entire day. ❣️Cover for your colleague who is stuck in traffic. ❣️Appreciate your team's efforts rather than focusing only on the outcome. ❣️Ask a stressed teammate, “Are you okay?” and make them feel cared for. Small gestures, big impact. We all bring silent battles to the workplace. While we can’t solve each other’s problems, we can make the journey a little easier by choosing kindness over criticism and empathy over judgment. Be kind. That’s the least we can do to lighten each other’s burdens. Let’s build workplaces where people trust and respect each other, a place they actually want to show up with authentic smiling faces. Give a thumbs up if you agree 👍😊. #kindnessatwork #leadership #workplaceculture #empathy

Two questions that have remained stuck in my mind all the time. - If the 7-year-old me could peek into my life today, would she smile with excitement? - If the 70-year-old me looked back, would she feel proud and grateful for the choices I made? In the race to chase validations and endorsements from others, we completely forget the ones who live inside our own story. One is our past self, and the other is the future self. These are the two people who matter most. Because every step we take is a bridge between who we were and who we are becoming. If both versions of us can nod in pride, we are probably heading in the right direction. Choosing freelancing over a stable corporate career was not the “safe” path for me. Though feeling insecure deep inside, these two questions propelled me back then to take the new path. I strongly believe that my younger self would have loved the courage, and my future self, I hope, will thank me for living on my own terms. So, when it is time for you to decide on your life, imagine your younger self cheering for you and your future self thanking you for it. #chooseyourself #selfbelief #courage #lifedecisions
