While electric vehicles (EVs) help combat climate change by cutting greenhouse gas emissions, a new study by Indian researchers highlights an unintended downside: increased air pollution from tyre wear. India has stepped in to stop the auction of sacred Buddhist relics listed for sale by Sotheby’s in Hong Kong.
