I had the opportunity to visit Maraal Aerospace, a deep-tech startup incubated at #IIT Kanpur, and interact with their team. As per Maraal Aerospace, their flagship #Solar UAV is designed to operate at altitudes of up to 6 km, with an endurance of around 12 hours and a one-way range of about 150 km. The system also requires only a short runway of 50–100 meters for launch, making it versatile for varied operational environments. It was insightful to understand their journey, vision, and ongoing efforts in the domain of solar-powered, sustainable aerospace technologies.
